What is score suppressed

Sometime you may credit check a company or receive an alert on a monitored stating that the company's credit score has been suppressed or a credit assessment is not available. There are a number of reasons why a company may have its score suppressed, which include the following:

  • There has been an Intention To Dissolve On an unknown date
  • There has been an Intention To Dissolve but the latest date of accounts filed is unknown
  • There has been an Intention To Dissolve but the latest date of Annual Returns filed is unknown
  • The company was reinstated on an unknown date
  • There has been a Winding Up Petition but the date of the hearing is unknown
  • Voluntary Arrangement is suspended on an unknown date
  • Voluntary Arrangement is suspended and there has been a voluntary or compulsory appointment of a liquidator
  • Voluntary Arrangement is suspended and there has been an appointment of an administrator
  • There has been a revocation of a Voluntary Arrangement within the last 6 months
  • Voluntary Arrangement is revoked on an unknown date
  • Voluntary Arrangement is revoked and there has been a voluntary or compulsory appointment of a liquidator.
  • Voluntary Arrangement is revoked and there has been an appointment of an administrator
  • A private unlimited company where the date of accounts is greater than 2 years old
  • A Limited Partnership
  • Company is dormant
  • Company Converted / Closed
  • Date of incorporation unknown
  • Current accounts Missing
  • Current set of accounts Imbalance
  • Currency other than sterling
  • Accounts filed and Accounting Period unknown
  • All current directors are incorporation agents
  • No accounts filed and company is greater than 51 months old
  • Number of Current Directors = 0 and No Accounts are filed
  • The company is subject to a manual override
  • Companies with the following prefix are not scored:
    • AC / SA / NA - Assurance Companies
    • FC / SF / NF - Overseas Companies where accounts are greater than 3 years old
    • LP / SL / NL - Limited Partnerships
    • ZC / SZ / NZ - Incorporated outside the Companies Act - no accounts or accounts are greater than 2 years old
    • IP / SP / NP - Industrial and Provident Society - no accounts or accounts are greater than 2 years old
    • RC / SR / NR - Incorporated by Royal Charter
    • GE / GS / GN - European Economic Interest Grouping
    • OC / SO / NO - Limited Liability Partnership that has not yet filed accounts
    • SE - English / Welsh European Plc
    • ES - Scottish Plc
